| A new vertical Scrolling SEUCK Competition launched |

After running the Sideways Scrolling SEUCK competition earlier on this year. We have launched a new Shoot ’Em Up Construction Kit game making competition. In which you make a nice looking and fun game with the normal SEUCK editor. Entries are now open from 1st September 2010 - 7th November 2010. Voting commences a week after that date. Best of luck!

CBM engineer Chuck Peddle, CBM engineer Bil Herd, and engineer Jeri Ellsworth video-conferenced into CommVEx and had a discussion of the early days at Commodore Business Machines. Not to be confused with an earlier Chuck Peddle interview from the Vintage Computer Festival East, this new talk sheds more light on Peddle, Jack Tramiel, and the PET and VIC-20 computers. The Commodore Info Page has reached the milestone of 200 Commodore sightings.
And number 200 is a special one. In a episode of the Channel 4 computer-show, "4 Computer Buff’s", you can see Jack Tramiel. He talks about the new range of computers from Atari.
Other examples of sightings are: Airwolf, Buck Rogers, Derrick, Futurama, Knight Rider, MacGyver, Magnum PI, Miami Vice, Police Academy 3, Red Dwarf, Sesame Street, Star Trek, The IT crowd and Wayne’s World.

Verzin Maar Iets Leuks is a small but fine demo by Sander, Mirage and Hein of Focus. Visuals und Audio are truely impressive. However, I wonder why the driver drives in the middle of the street, and how he’s able to hold the drink so still on such a rocky road ;-)
Furthermore, Mirage released an excellent IFLI artwork called Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, pumped up with some nice raster effects in the border, and a dark mooded tune by Hein.
