Tulip has announced the "Commodore 64 30 in 1 console". How this gadget will work seems yet to be revealed, but perhaps we can hope for a onechip c64, similar to the onechip NES that is available in hundreds of different NES/Famicom consoleclones and built-in NES joysticks.

A complete rewrite of the ConGo Shell Extensions for Windows Explorer has been uploaded to www.editorix.org/congo. The main focus this time was generalized handling of image formats (should now be consistent for ConGoSE, the ConGo Photoshop Plugins and the upcoming ConGo V5) and giving the D64 namespace extension much more of the Explorer look&feel.
What does it do:
- thumbnail, icon, preview, infotip, context menu, property page for C64 images (50+ formats)
- preview, infotip, property page for C64 sounds (sid, psid, mus)
- preview, infotip, context menu, property page for C64 archives (lbr, lnx, sfx, sda, ark, arc, wr3)
- preview, infotip for D64/71/81 files
- the D64/71/81 icon shows how full a disk is (very handy!)
- namespace extension for D64/71/81 files, i.e. Explorer handles them as folders. VERY complete, all view modes (icon, thumbnail, details, list), you can drag files on and off, you can rename, delete files and change filetype and disk label / ID, you have property pages for different filetypes INSIDE the D64 (incl. text / hex / disassembler / detokenizer / zoomable image preview), many details (even typical GEOS ones like DocumentClass and ApplicationClass).

Demos: 7 entries. Camelot, K2, Smash Design, The Dreams, Crest, Metalvotze and Bennysoft (last two were fake-demos) 4k-intros: Padua, WDKD, PWP, Dekadence and Plush music: about 17 entries. Thanx to Britelite / Dekadence for info. According to Brite "Krill?s 4k will most likely win, again :)" and "Camelot?s demo ruled". However, concerning demo compo Graham says that demo by " K2 will win :D".
