"some error has happened" - problem : It’s probably caused because of problem with datbase connections I suppose. Database server is separated from hosting. I’ll try to solve this.

So, yesterday was the day we should’ve celebrated by playing Summer Games, representing the Soviet Union? It still amazes me how Epyx, who seemed quite determined with these series of games, could let through the International and Waltzing Matilda as national anthems. Technically, the Danish one is kind of wrong too, as they have both the King’s song and another national anthem IIRC.
Anders Carlsson

[7] : 03. May 2004 06:51
No, they hired Blazon to patch the games to be up to date, as they are the most active C64 cracker group, but I haven’t seem any releases from them recently.

[8] : 04. May 2004 17:30
can someone please remove one of my double posts? guh, this wacky buggy browser seems to think that clicking on ’show news’ is an invitation to repost :). yay! I love work in progress stuff :).

Sorted.

C’mon man, you’re lagging :) Didn’t use to be this way. Why, when I was a young one ..
Tdj

[18] : 07. May 2004 12:20
Yeah, but when you were young computers were powered by steam and all you needed to do was put more coal in to get more MHz. =-)

[19] : 07. May 2004 12:22
tdj: when you were a young one, werent they still using punchcards for email? :=P

[14]: The C64 doesn’t have *that* many colours to choose from, at least not in default VIC-II graphic modes. BTW, with the introduction of the C64 Direct-to-TV or whatever its name is, we will have a great opportunity to relive all the inaccurancies (sp?) introduced in the Games series.

Anyone willing to make review of Pocket C64 at c64.sk?
CreaMD

[33] : 17. May 2004 12:41
Haven’t even got the money to buy it, let alone the kit needed to run it. =-(

[34] : 17. May 2004 13:24
Well, My bro has the "kit" but I don’t have much time to write anytihing technically perfect about it and last time I promised them to make the review I failed to deliver it, so I don’t want to repeat the same mistake ;-). Anyway as I said is there is anyone who is going to check the preview on his machine, how about writing some info about how the games like Creatures Mayhem in Monsterland and such stuff works in this version (the last one wasn’t able to run them propperly).
CreaMD

[35] : 17. May 2004 13:27
Btw. it’s quite nice to imagine to be a travelling bussinessman and having this toy with that emulator in it. I know it’s just a dream but from my current point of view on my life I can deam about spending long flights playing C64 games ;-)))).
CreaMD

[36] : 19. May 2004 23:30
I’ve added a button of Pocket Commodore 64 - a pocket PC C64 emulator into the partners. In return Clickgamer’s section of Pocket C64 will link back to c64.sk.
CreaMD

[37] : 20. May 2004 15:01
C64.sk is 3 years today. I always planned to make some special announcements every birthday, but always failed to deliver any. Well maybe I’ll be more succesful next year ;-). I plan to make complete reprogramming of the whole site to speed up the download and drop all the unnecessary table-layout load. I also plan long-requested RSS feed and some more things. Stay tuned. I need to find some time for it, first. ;-)
CreaMD

[38] : 20. May 2004 17:31
Happy birthday C64.sk! Maybe you need to add it as a scener to the CSDb, then we’ll get a birthday reminder when C64.sk loads up ;)
