Sid Wine Compo II - 10 days to deadline 00:53
Online C64 music competition made in love of Sid music. Check the homepage here.
You still can send a tune until 5 April 2003 11:59 AM GMT, but first go to see the rules. There is a little price for the winner - 12 wine bottles to drink a toast to sid music (the wine is of Stefano Tognon?s little personal production). Hey musicians! You still have time to take this compo by storm, so don?t hesitate and submit your productions.

 Deadline 2003 music contribution 18:05
As my entry from the Deadline music competition was forever lost, as a result of an unhealthy intake of alcohol, I?ve spent a couple of hours on recreating the tune.

Hence, the file Morphing.prg, now available on ftp.padua.org and ftp.elysium.pl isn?t really the music compo winner. But it?s pretty darn close.

CIVITAS - some smaller releases 16:16
We decided to sort of re-release some older tools Chico/Civitas did back in the 90s, which were never really spread in any wider sense. Power of Recollection is a funny little game for all you pseudo-crackers out there, while the Routine Collection might be of some use for beginners at assembler or guys still coding in BASIC. The Char to Sprite Converter 2 is a short and handy tool to do sprite-logos the dirty way, and Sledge Power compiles various versions of this beloved packer.

C= show and SID workshop on 19th April, Holland 16:31
We will organize a C= show on Saturday, 19th April at the Trefpunt, Kerkweg 21 in Maarssen, Holland. We are trying to get a lot of SID freaks together and will have a lot of demonstrations. There will be a projector with a wide screen and we shall show you how to make a good MP3. For some nice pics of older C= shows look at our site: commodore-gg.hobby.nl. Furthermore we will try to get a SIDstation demonstration and a Hardsid. Also there will be some articles in Dutch press like a few newspapers and computermagazines. The main reason is to get a lot of publicity around this great hobby.

Information on Willow Party 2003 12:33
Dear Willow party friends and C64 users,

as you might know, there was a sudden change in the Willow organization team. Because of that and for other reasons, which are also connected with the organization, we are forced to move the party from 4th - 6th April to autumn 2003. The exact date will be announced soon. We would like to confirm there was no valid order for anyone to stay away simply because there was no agreement between the organizers about it. Furthermore we would like to point out that a presentation of "The Wave" at the party place doesn’t seem possible to be realised by us and therefore is not planned either. Because of that the party slogan will change too.

We wish you much fun at the C64 parties to come this year and hope to welcome you at Willow in autumn.

All the best,

Doc Of Desire and Floyd of Willow.

NinjaTracker V1.04: brings back the filter-command, new gamemusic version, that doesn?t save playroutine with music (playroutine separately as source code, can play music from any address) and doesn?t lie about the rastertime anymore :) Download

GoatTracker -> NinjaTracker Convertor V1.1: now tunes shouldn?t bug anymore after packing/relocation, and support for almost all the effects added. Note that songs have to be GoatTracker V1.4 format if you want filters to be converted properly. Download

Enjoy!

The Dark Court special: Floppy 2003 02:34
The Dark Court Special - Floppy 2003When it comes to demos the Floppy parties really have a name to uphold. Two years ago it was "Feedback" by Triad beating "A quoi ca sert?" by Wrath Design, and last year "Pretending To See The Light" by Fairlight won the competition. This year it was Booze Design's "Industrial Breakdown" gathering the most votes. Here are the reviews of the top 5. In case you have missed the releases, download them from here.
