This project has been worked on in secrecy :) for quite a while, as well as being subject to serious changes, turmoil & hesitation. But finally I?m confident to "officially" announce it:
So, this will be the final part in the series. Featuring freedirectional scrolling with one row more than in Turricans :), PAL/NTSC compatibility, nice loadingsystem, total joystick-only control, and more.
As for the gameplay, I?m trying to create more options for the player instead of just having to rely on the trigger finger, inspired by Warren Spector?s masterpiece Deus Ex. We?ll see how that works out...
This project will be extensive; right now the game engine is progressing very nicely. The plan is to get the game finished before Matrix Reloaded premiere :)
Ok..that?s a long time, but I thought it?s nice to let you C64 ppl know that something?s being worked on.
The announcement rant is also at the Covert BitOps site.
Any questions or comments? Mail them to me! (updated on 8th of MAY 2002 17:47)

New Remember release, but... 8( |
15:21 |
Ok, new REMEMBER releases are ready for spread. But if you want them, contact me and Ill send them via email to you (around 650 kb, 1 zip).
The reason why that way for this time is simple:
I cant make an update at Immortal Antiques because someone hacked our ftp-server and removed all our releases. But our ftp-server will move soon (NOT our homepage!), so Ill make an update when its done!
You cant download ANY releases at the moment.
Our releases for this time (2 disks / 4 sides) are...
re-releases:
Exploding Fist 2 (we released this before at Immortal Antiques) and Crystals of Zong (bugs removed).
new releases:
Space Harrier, Space Harrier 2, Terra Cognita, Cylu, Rollaround, Card Sharks, Alleykat, First Strike, Pac-Land, Law of the West, Turmoil and Encounter.

Especially the IRC idlers among us C64 sceners should give this a thought, if you haven?t already...
The C64 scene team needs some more members to let the world know that 8bit is still enough (for most cases at least =))...
